GRADING POLICY

There will be five (50 minutes) quizzes, one (1 hour and 15 minutes) midterm exam, and one (2-hour) final exam. Two lowest quizzes will be dropped. Each quiz is worth 12% and covers recently learned sections in the past two weeks. Each exam is worth 25%, where the midterm exam will test Chapters 10 & 11, and the remaining chapters/sections will be tested by the (noncumulative) final exam.

Grades will be assigned on the basis of total 100 points, distributed as follows:

NOTE: Your grade will be based EXCLUSIVELY on the homework, quizzes and examinations.
